It is resolutely committed to ensuring inclusive and equitable access, enabling everyone to discover and fully appreciate its collections and activities, no matter the situations or challenges encountered. The goal is to create a welcoming, open space where everyone can thrive and feel at their rightful place.

Individual visitors 

To ensure the accessibility of its areas, collections and events, the museum provides services and facilities tailored to meet everyone's needs. We ensure that everyone, whatever their circumstances, can make the most of their visit in the best possible conditions.

Admission to the museum is free for disabled visitors and an accompanying adult (upon presentation of documentation). It is not necessary to reserve your ticket in advance, or go to the ticket office. You can present your document directly to our agents.

Group visitors

The Musée national Picasso-Paris offers group tours adapted to all audiences, with tailored mediation. Whether you're a school, association, healthcare or other type of group, our specialized mediators will guide you through our collections and exhibitions, taking into account each person's specific needs to offer an inclusive and enriching experience.

Visioguide

Découvrez la collection du Musée Picasso avec notre visioguide Le Musée Picasso met à votre disposition un visioguide conçu pour les personnes sourdes et malentendantes signantes. Cet outil permet de découvrir les œuvres à travers un parcours adapté en Langue des Signes Française (LSF).

Grâce à cet accompagnement visuel, explorez l’intégralité des collections en suivant un parcours défini, ponctué d’arrêts signalés par un pictogramme.

Disponible sans réservation, il peut être emprunté sur simple demande à l’accueil au tarif de 4 € par personne.

Accessibility at the museum

The Musée national Picasso-Paris attaches great importance to ensuring the accessibility of its spaces to all visitors, no matter the type of disability or the specific needs. Adapted facilities, mediation systems and a personalized welcome are offered so that every visitor can fully enjoy the museum experience in an inclusive and respectful environment.

PICTO PMR + HANDICAP MOTEUR

  • The whole museum is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility. 
  • Both guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome at the museum. 
  • The entire museum is wheelchair-accessible, with the exception of the chapel (a historic room that cannot be converted).
  • Wheelchairs and cane seats can be borrowed in exchange for a piece of identification (on request at reception). Reservations are not necessary.
  • Parking in the immediate vicinity of the museum is difficult. If possible, we advise you to be dropped off in front of the museum entrance. The nearest parking lot is about 200m from the museum, at 7 rue Barbette - 75003 Paris, and the nearest PMR parking space is at 14 rue de Thorigny.
  • To discover the museum, you can download a easy-to-read and understand tour booklet in French.

  • For each exhibition, the museum provides a tour booklet in enlarged format and in braille (on request at the reception desk).
  • Audioguides can be equipped with magnetic induction neckloops (on request at the reception desk). Rental : reduced rate of €4 on presentation of documentary evidence..

As part of its commitment to inclusion, the museum is developing partnerships with institutions, associations and social actors to foster access to Culture for all. These collaborations allow us to offer mediation initiatives, events and tours adapted to the needs of audiences with special needs, helping us to create links between culture and the diversity of our audiences.
