In situ creations in the heart of the exhibitions or exceptional shows in the museum's garden, these artistic encounters break down the boundaries between the arts and honor today's artists in their dialogue with Picasso's work.
Conferences
Debates, dialogues or conferences, the meetings of the Musée national Picasso-Paris are opportunities to develop and share a reflection. Led by exhibition curators, artists, thinkers and scientists, they extend the themes addressed in the exhibitions and deepen questions about Picasso and his work. These meetings are monthly and free of charge.
Events
Performances, activities, cultural events or exhibition visits, the events of the Picasso-Paris National Museum offer unique experiences to share with friends or family. Most often free of charge, and are held in the heart of European, national and Parisian cultural events.
Les hybrides
À compter de septembre 2025, à l’occasion des 40 ans du Musée national Picasso-Paris, l’institution culturelle ouvre une saison de 10 événements de spectacle vivant autour d’une nouvelle ligne de programmation culturelle nocturne. Bintou Dembélé, Rocé, Carmel Loanga, Koki Nakano, Andy4000... sont autant d’artistes qui viendront animer les Hybrides !
La programmation : les Hybrides du Musée national Picasso-Paris
Picasso a été un observateur aigu de la ville, de ses quartiers populaires, de son cosmopolitisme, amoureux du cirque, des saltimbanques, habitué des cafés, des cabarets. Il joue très tôt, aux côtés d’Apollinaire, de Satie ou de Prévert, sur les registres de la culture populaire et de la culture savante, de l’hybridation des expressions et des cultures.
C’est fidèle à cet artiste, dont il abrite la plus grande collection au monde, que le Musée national Picasso-Paris propose une nouvelle offre d’arts vivants urbains – musique, danse, performances –, à travers des pratiques contemporaines pointues, permettant d’explorer l’idée d’hybridité, d’une contamination entre arts de la rue et arts institutionnels, entre traditions classiques ou vernaculaires, d’ici et d’ailleurs.
Bintou Dembélé, Rocé, Carmel Loanga, Koki Nakano, Andy4000... chacune de ces Hybrides sera l’occasion de profiter d’événements musicaux et chorégraphiques d’exception, conçus de manière inédite par des artistes reconnus, pour et dans le cadre patrimonial unique de l’Hôtel Salé, tout en bénéficiant d’un temps privilégié pour admirer les expositions ou les œuvres de la collection permanente du musée
