"Yves Saint-Laurent at the Museums" offers a tour of the permanent collections of six Parisian museums to highlight the dialogue that the couturier maintained with art. At the Musée national Picasso-Paris, the display honors his "Picasso" periods, which are among the best known and most explicit episodes of this re-reading of painting that runs through all of his work. Mouna Mekouar and Emilia Philippot, the curators, return for an evening to the tribute that Yves Saint-Laurent paid to Picasso through singular games of transposition, mimicry, detour and/or reinvention.
