Healthcare Group
The Musée national Picasso-Paris welcomes visitors who encounter the greatest difficulties in accessing the museum. As such, its accessibility policy is also aimed at groups from the healthcare sector, whose visit is often compromised by medical, financial or logistical problems. Museums are not intended to cure, but rather to be a place of inclusion and openness within society. The pleasure of a cultural outing, the opportunity to share and dialogue as part of a group, the emotion felt in front of a work of art - these are all highlights of the visiting experience, which can help to lighten a painful daily routine.

This tour takes into account the special needs of the more frail elderly or those affected by the Alzheimer's disease. Guided by a lecturer, the group takes the time to sit down in front of the works and explore them in detail. In a dialogue that engages all participants, the lecturer draws out the essential characteristics of Picasso's art and welcomes the group's feedback. The visit is limited to one level of the museum, and to a small number of works, to reduce the fatigue associated with moving around. Cane seats are provided for the tour.
